Stuart is a Principal at Axiom Consulting Partners. He brings to the firm more than two decades of multi-national experience as an operator and a consultant, helping companies grow and embrace the opportunities of new and emerging technology, and improve strategy execution to drive business outcomes.

At Axiom, Stuart helps clients transform the way they do business by framing their most critical strategic business challenges, coaching leaders in outcome-based thinking, creating conditions for successful execution through focus and alignment, and sustaining the cultural shifts needed that ensure long term organizational success.

Prior to joining Axiom, Stuart co-led the fast-growing professional services team at WorkBoard, the market-leading SaaS-based OKR software provider and results advisor.

Stuart’s advisory experience includes working with Bain and Company, where he focused primarily on growth strategy with global clients in the technology and telecoms sector, and with Waterstone Management Group (now part of West Monroe Partners), where he advised technology organizations in strategic growth, monetization and business model transformation.

Some of Stuart’s career highlights include:

  • Organization Effectiveness – built an executive results coaching team focused on the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework; defining playbooks of essential best practices that drive organizational effectiveness and build strategic execution capability.
  • Top Team Effectiveness – coached leadership team at a global industrial supplier to develop, align on, and execute against a top-to-bottom strategy based on the OKR framework for their most promising product innovations.
  • Growth Strategy – designed a strategic roadmap and developed an execution plan to transform the services division of an industry-leading cybersecurity firm from loss maker to 40%+ margin.
  • Go-To-Market Strategy – developed digital strategy and three-year market and product initiative roadmap for leading training provider to drive incremental $150M from emerging digital opportunities.
  • Business Transformation – advised $2B+ subscription payroll services provider major accounts business unit on the transformation of services delivery strategy, key processes, and financial performance model.

Stuart earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was selected to receive the Harry L Davis Award for outstanding creative leadership.

He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Warwick Business School in his native UK.
