Holly Feldman, Principal

Holly is a Principal at Axiom Consulting Partners. She is a leader of Axiom’s Organization services within the Business Transformation practice.

Holly brings deep analysis, rigor and objectivity to clients’ most complex problems, empowering them to articulate simply what was previously complicated. She has helped clients across a variety of industries assess the economic and operational implications of strategic decisions, identify and overcome the risks and roadblocks that undermine change, and make long-term improvements to client performance.

I am an adventurer at heart and love to try new things, meet new people, and travel to new places. Just as it takes courage for a person to step onto a ledge or eat a different food, it takes courage for leaders to implement strategic change. But in my personal and professional experience, the rewards and their lasting impact are worth the effort.

Experience

Prior to joining Axiom Consulting Partners, Holly worked as an Implementation Manager at Express Scripts, the world’s largest pharmaceutical benefits manager. During her tenure she managed the transition of more than 20 national clients and more than 200,000 covered lives and advised them on their compensation and benefits strategy. Holly also worked for one of the nation’s largest health systems in the areas of operations and supply chain, lean Six Sigma, planning and business development.

Some of Holly’s notable experiences include:

  • Operating Model Design and Implementation – redesigned a global conglomerate with 30+ brand names by grouping capabilities and assets in a manner that facilitated rapid innovation at the business model level – enabling them to execute on a $15B annual revenue ambition. Realigned and implemented P&L accountability, leadership roles, and governance to complement new structure. Identified 5% in organization cost savings including eliminating duplication and enhancing productivity.
  • Change Management and Acceleration – designed and implemented a comprehensive change management program for a global insurance brokerage undergoing a multi-year operations transformation across 450+ offices, including strategies to align stakeholders, equip leaders and employees for the change through training and development, and sustain success.
  • HR Transformation – transformed the Human Resources function to better support the needs of a growing academic medical center with >13K employees. Redesigned the recruiting, compensation, and performance management processes; introduced a partnership-based HR operating model; implemented a new job architecture and salary structure; and specified the technical requirements to support all changes.
  • Talent Acquisition Design – redesigned the talent acquisition capability and enabling talent ecosystem for a national child-care provider that averaged 10K hires per year, including defining the people, processes, technologies, and candidate attraction strategies that would allow them to be successful in a highly competitive job market.
  • Healthcare Organization Design – authored a playbook for a national consortium of academic medical centers on designing and implementing a program to manage care for the chronically ill, including how to build a business case, define and identify target patient populations, map the desired patient journey, and maintain sustained performance.

Holly earned her MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, with a concentration in Strategy Consulting. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Miami University (Ohio).
