Derek is a Manager at Axiom Consulting Partners. He brings to the firm seven years of organization and workforce transformation experience across both public and private industries.
At Axiom, Derek helps clients design and implement business transformations, tailored workforce solutions, and change management strategies to improve an organization’s greatest asset, its people. Derek applies a human centered design approach to align organizations’ human capital needs to their current and future business strategies.
Due to disruptions in the market, organizations are presented with a new set of challenges in the workplace, the workforce, and the nature of work itself. What excites me most is working collaboratively with clients to design solutions for their Future of Work priorities.
Prior to joining Axiom Consulting Partners, Derek spent seven years at Deloitte where he helped develop organization and workforce transformations solutions, leveraging skill sets in design thinking, organizational design, training design, and leadership development. In addition, he has supported a variety of C-suite clients’ operational and mission focused projects that face complex global challenges.

Derek graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and a minor in Law, Science and Technology. In addition, Derek spent a summer abroad at the University of Oxford studying computer science and engineering. He currently is pursuing his MBA part time at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
