Alex Dabit, Manager

Alex is a Manager at Axiom Consulting Partners. He brings to the firm five years of experience working both as a consultant and HR professional.

At Axiom, Alex leads the design, development, implementation, and assessment of people-focused organizational strategies. He leverages his experience as a consultant, HR professional, and social science researcher to deliver practical, client-centric solutions to challenges with an emphasis on aligning an organization’s operating model and culture to its strategic vision, mission, and values.

I’m motivated by partnering collaboratively with our clients to help them find root causes to the challenges they face. I’m at my best when delivering innovative solutions to help organizations solve critical people challenges and achieve strategic goals through a unique blend of intellectual creativity, critical thinking skills, subject matter expertise, and social science research.

 

Experience

Prior to joining Axiom Consulting Partners, Alex spent three years at PwC where he worked in their Workforce Transformation and Workforce of the Future practices, focusing on defining and implementing a wide range of organization and people strategies. Before this, Alex graduated from GE’s HR Leadership Program and worked in Compensation at PepsiCo.

Alex’s career highlights include:

  • Leadership & Talent – At a large technology company, developed a talent assessment, selection, and development strategy meant to identify high-potential candidates and provide guidance and coaching to employees based on a bespoke capability model tied to defined strategic cultural outcomes.
  • Team Effectiveness – At a major healthcare system, assessed the performance and teaming dynamics of senior leadership to identify sources of strength and tension, and provided recommendations to C-suite level executives on how team health could be improved through changes to team operating model, culture, and strategy.
  • Organization Design – In the context of a global pharmaceutical merger, defined a series of organizational design options for the HR function of the NewCo, partnering with the senior leadership team to determine the best fit-for-purpose option, and developing a cross-functional organization design playbook for use in execution of design plans.

Alex earned his master’s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from Western Michigan University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Development and Change from Fielding Graduate University.
